Today, the H2gO team was honored to present among 50+ other poster presentation in the University of Rhode Island Memorial Union. From left to right, Justin, Alexa, Max, and Isabella are seen standing by their poster and system in the suitcase that they brought as a visual aid. It was great to return to the same showcase that we attended last year, with significant improvements to our product. It is always energizing to speak about H2gO with other people to hear their opinions on the unique system. Thank you URI for this great opportunity for collaboration! Isabella and Alexa were listed on the Rhode Island 2019 Innos under 25, among 13 other students. The article states, "Silverman and Leone, two seniors at the University of Rhode Island majoring in ocean engineering, have developed a solar-powered tool that tests water quality and filtrates — and fits in a suitcase. They’ve traveled twice to the Dominican Republic, along with a faculty mentor, to further their research, and even met with the DR’s Ministry of Education on how to better expand their startup’s reach within the country. The team is also recipients of URI Office of Innovation and Research and URI Spark grants."
We are honored and so thankful to have been nominated and chosen to be on this list. Thank you to our supporters! You are able to read more about this in the article written HERE. Updates
